If you are a Halo Insider and have received access to the technical preview of Halo Infinite, you probably played a lot of infinite this weekend. However, some performance issues may have occurred on the PC. Many people (including us) have found that the PC version of the Technical Preview itself is incredibly exhausting even for the highest builds, as some cards of the 3000 series have difficulty running with 60 fps. Here are all known methods to improve the performance of the Halo Infinite Build. It should be noted that they were performed on a PC with a Ryzen 2700x and NVIDIA RTX 2060, which was performed on a Halo Infinite on a 1440p 144 Hz monitor.
Halo support tweeted to the problem and said, "Players in the technical preview with high-end GPUS, but poor performance: Please check your frame rate settings and make sure you click on the minimum frame rate to 30 (or higher) and the maximum frame rate. Set are native image repeat frequency (usually 60). This can lead to a dramatic improvement. "Although this did not work with us, many have reported that the performance has actually improved. The first method that improved performance on our site was to switch the latra to Ultra in the NVIDIA Control Panel. This seemed to improve the performance massively, where we saw an increase in the frame rate. Tom Warren by The Verge reported that the setting of the minimum and maximum frame rate has improved its performance by more than 50 images per second, and this method gave us an increase of 20 images per second, which enhances the gameplay drastically. This was the first time that we run the game with 1440p60 ultra fluid, but still not so constant, as we would have liked, as it often often fluctuated.
If you have performance issues in Halo Infinite on the PC, set the minimum frame rate according to your monitor output (Hz). Mine is 240 Hz, so 240 fps min and max. I went from 90fps to 145fps! ???? Thanks to @Keys_eg for the tip https://t.co/oxlnllruj pic.twitter.com/mdbygd4nnf

If everything fails, the players can of course reduce the settings at any time to compensate for the frame rate, as the power is almost always triumphed via the graphic. We found Halo Infinite in this build most comfortable because the resolution and settings were reduced much lower than normal, which gave us a constant frame rate of 80-100 fps. This was much more pleasant than the ever-moving 1440p ultra settings and gave us the opportunity to actually enjoy the game and do not worry about performance. However, this is by no means ideal, and it is a pity that this build was not optimized as we would have wished.
These problems will necessarily occur in technical previews like this, and since Infinite can run in the Xbox Series X | S with 120 frames per second, PC players should not be afraid that the game runs phenomenally when the main building is optimizing and released.
