Although they are about to make their official debut in the next edition of Nintendo, Pepémon and Bouclier Games, Grookey, Sobble and Scorbunny will appear on another platform: Google's new Pixel 4 phone.
This has been confirmed by EuroGamer today that a new application for the device would have the featured pookemon characters. It's called Pokemon Wave Hello, and it offers a level of interactivity that owners will surely appreciate.
It's a demonstration made in collaboration with The Pokémon Company to show the tricks of the business on the phone when it comes to the air gestures it uses. You start with a simple sweep of your fingers on the screen, then you become familiar with each part.
It starts with scorbunny skipping by sliding your fingers up in front of the phone. Then you treat sobble with a little water using gestures to sprinkle them with water, then by dialogue with Grookey to grow the grass using his special stick. Oh, and you can also caress, which also appears in the application. The image below provides details on the depth of interactivity.
The demo is not downloadable on the Google Play Store. Instead, it seems that retailers offer it as a way to present technology to potential buyers. But we can imagine some pokemon fans who would be happy to have an application like this one. Who would not want to caress avee? A video of the application can be found here.
The characters will be in good shape playable when Pepée Pokémon and Bouclier debut for Nintendo Switch next month.
