Digital board games are probably one of the most interesting genres in the mobile area. Not only because it is fast, dynamic and active with publications, but because it effectively includes most other genres. Asmodee is the world's second largest board game publisher - and you have just stated that you open up developers licenses.
This means that big and small developers throw their hats into the ring and snap their existing products and make them mobile games.
If you have a sharp eye for digital board games, you probably already have made some adjustments to your properties. Games like Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, Catan Stories and Fighting Fantasy Legend come from their catalog, but where they previously protected the publication of customizations, they have announced they opened access to their other games.
In the press release, games like KeyForge, Legend of the Five Rings, Twilight Empire and Small World were mentioned as outstanding elements in their catalog.
KeyForge is one of its outstanding products and has a high priority under the brand Fantasy Flight Games. It raises the cover building of CCG games and instead leans against finely curated, stuffing decks. It is a 1-counter-1 dual game with a flourishing competition scene.
Twilight Empire, another game mentioned is a strategy game for 3-6 players in which the intergalactic species of each player compete against each other to reveal the map of a galaxy while trying to claim the dominance of the new space sector.
But if we look beyond the games mentioned in the announcement, and look in their extensive catalog, there are games like 7Wonders, Arkham Horror, Dead of Winter, Star Wars X-Wing and much more.
We have already been pampered with adjustments to board games in recent years, but we could really enter a new era - one in which we never see well-adapted games on the way to the phone.
