Since time immemorial, PlayStation has kept its exclusives near its chest and most fans felt that games like God of War and Uncharted would never go out on PC. However, after the outings of Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn, as well as their relative success, the PlayStation Studios seemed to change your mind.
Nixxes Software is a Dutch company leader in the video game design industry as well as portage. Nixxes Software strives to provide players with the best possible experience, regardless of the platform. In July of this year, Sony announced his acquisition of Nixxes Software, which led a lot to allude to the possibility of other ports to PC. Nixxes Software was responsible for the portage of many major titles, including Tomb Raider and Marvel's Avengers.
Today, in an interview with Famitsu, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, has been asked a series of questions, one of which concerned the recent acquisitions and partnership agreements of Sony. In response, Mr. Ryan said, "We are also satisfied with our efforts to provide our IP to PCs, although it's still in its infancy, and we look forward to working with Nixxes to contribute.
With the success of Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, as well as the clear Microsoft initiative to mashend the Xbox and PC worlds using their Microsoft Game Pass, it is not surprising that PlayStation can seek to enter on the portage market of their games.
There is still no confirmation on potential titles, but PC game fans, including me, dream of such as Bloodborne, The Last of Us and God of War for years.
