Rockstar Games has apparently revealed the original design of Arthur Morgan in red Dead Redemption 2, which looks like the final design, but also noticeably different. Over the years, Rockstar Games has created some popular protagonists, from Niko Bellic to Jimmy Hopkins. However, his best protagonist to date is undoubtedly Arthur Morgan, in part thanks to the excellent performance of Roger Clark as a character, but largely due to the writing behind the character.
In terms of characters design, there is nothing really special at Arthur Morgan. He looks like a long cowboy at the end of the 19th century. In other words, he looks exactly as he is supposed to be seen. That said, an initial design of the character reveals a design that represents Arthur Morgan with a slightly different vibes.
The revelation occurred during GDC 2021, courtesy of Kleanthous Tobias de Rockstar Games, the main programmer of IA and gameplay, who gave a special presentation on how to make horses for rojo didretion 2. And on a slide during this presentation, there is a conceptual art that seems that Arthur Morgan was revealed.
I have no idea if that is an early version of Arthur considering that the character is using him. I love how he is cycling, haha. pic.twitter.com/nakjvmwk4l.

Now, it is worth noting that Kleanthous did not take note of conceptual art nor said he is Arthur Morgan, but it is not clear who else could be given that the character is using one of Arthur's attire. He could be a generic character, but it seems unlikely.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available through Google Stadia, PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can also play on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but right now it can be reproduced in these machines through compatibility with earlier versions.
