Netmarble received A rating from 'MSCI ESG Evaluation' by MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) on the 20th.
MSCI is a global ESG evaluation agency of Morgan Stanley, one of the world's three largest investment banks. Netmarble received a BB rating in 2020, up to BBB in 2021 and rose to A in the first half of this year.
In this evaluation, Netmarble ▲ External disclosure of corporate ethical issues such as internal reporter protection system ▲ Improvement and disclosure of talent management programs ▲ Operation of independent boards and major committees (audit, salary, senior, etc.) ▲ high scores in transparent accounting risk management sector received.
The MSCI ESG evaluation, which has been in effect since 1999, is one of the global ESG evaluation indicators, which is based on the company that has been disclosed to the securities market, and is based on the corporate environment, social, economic and governance data. As of 21 years, 79 major domestic companies were evaluated, and 32%of the total companies were over.
Meanwhile, Netmarble is conducting activities for ESG-centered sustainable management, such as establishing an eco-friendly new building, professional social contribution activities, and establishing a transparent and sound governance structure. In December last year, the ESG Management Committee was established and the first ESG report was published in March of this year. The second ESG report, which includes last year's activities, will be released within the year.
